TERRA NOVA (has spoilers after first sentence and link)

So Just finished watching the pilot episodes of TERRA NOVA (click link for hulu)
I really enjoyed it! Now I feel like alot of people are going to say, jurassic park with future tech...
All I'm going to say is, no, and also a big SO??
Anyway...
At first, while watching, I was getting an unsettled feeling about the whole time paradox thing, then there was a scene were they explained it that they went back in time to an alternate past.
Fun story, strange plot line (hopefully that doesn't get it cancelled, I love that stuff).
But I have to say my favourite surprise was steven lang! he's playing almost the exact same character as he did in Avatar! Personally I liked his character in the first part of the movie avatar. And Terra Nova has him set up the same way, military protector, I think the set up will make him stay "good" because their are no native people's to be terrorized and thus sympathized for... unless you really have a heart for dinosaurs...
Either way nice surprise to see him...
Good show start!

Just cause I haven't posted in awhile

So saw "rise of the planet of the apes" recently and I have to say it was pretty good!

Great acting, nice(ish) soundtrack, and great tip of the hats to the original Planet of the apes!
Keeping to the plot lines and such (tho I think Battle for the planet of the apes would say that "Caesar" was the son of apes gone back in time but we WILL ignore that paradox)

For sure go and see Rise of the planet of the apes and enjoy it even if you haven't seen another ape movie in your life (you'll like it)

Torchwood

So the new season of Torchwood is sweet...
I'd say it's already better than children of the earth
What is torchwood you ask?
Well torchwood is the BBC spin off series of Doctor who... in fact it's an anagram of Doctor who... (pretty sweet right)
It's centered around Captain Jack Harkness who we met in Season 1 of the new doctor who series...
Rose accidentally made him immortal and then the 51st century man got accidentally put in the 1800's where he lived till the 21st century...
He took Torchwood ( created by the queen of england to stop and protect Britain from aliens) when it got decimated by the cybermen dalek battle (where rose got stuck in the other universe)
Rebuilt it and then it ran for 3 seasons and now it's in it's 4th season...
I couldn't deal as much with the first season due to bbc3's explicitness... however 3 was a serial (like 4 is now) and it was really good without the dumb stuff...
There you go a review and overview on torchwood...
Watch season 4 (you will be okay without watching previous stuff fyi)!

Triathlons, movies, and sunburns...

So Beach trip was amazing! I build one amazing castle and one half aztek pyramid (building in sand is always the highlight of a beach trip for me). Had a good run on the beach, took a small nap in a tree and jumped off of a dune a number of times!
All great fun!
Then the sunburn and sore muscles in the morning felt ridiculous! I didn't want to be in the sun at all! crazy...
However today I ventured out for a bike run workout. As a few may know I am in the last bit of triathlon training...
ask me how my training has gone?
Well not well... However my biking skills have improved quite a bit since I started, and though my swimming skills are slow, I can do the distance and more if I need too...
it should be interesting what happens during the race! If anyone is interested in seeing what race i'm doing I linked it in the last sentence, so check it out!
I'm excited after today's workout because I think the bike run transition should be great! Praise God for the body that can be trained and conditioned to do this!
In other news:
Also There is a chance I'll be able to see Transformers again today at work! I know the guys I'm working with would love to see it, so it's a 80% chance! Woot, so 80% chance here I come!!
Autobots Transform and roll out!

Dark Of The Moon Soundtrack

I know I just posted about Transformers, but though this wont be all that I talk about it's currently on my mind...
So I love the soundtrack that Steve Jablonsky put together for all the Transformers movies
It's epic, fun, and right with the scene that's happening at the time it plays!

Unfortunate problem...
Walmart and K-mart both didn't have the score to Dark of the Moon!
They only had the pop/rock songs cd! oh no!
So then I go browsing the internet, just to see if I can even find a hard copy of it and Amazon doesn't even have it!!! how is this possible! Go ahead and check kinda frustrating...
Well Lucky for me itunes has them,
so I bought a blank Cd and bought some tunes and will now have a cd for my car, but come on people! I can't be the only one that likes soundtracks?!

Am I wrong? am I the only person who really likes the soundtracked score from movies?

Optimus-Prime-Transformers-Dark-of-the-Moon.jpg

Well first post should start big!

Well all among many things I'm a fan of transformers! As a kid I loved reading comics and watching transformers! When the movies came out I was excited to just see my imaginations of regular real life cars transforming come true! With the most recent one being super awesome I thought I'd like a review from Seibertron.com to continue what I think in someone else's speech! Though remember I think this is the best transformers film by Michael Bay to date...
